certainly rugged but feels dated
Spec-wise, my Toughbook is fine. Application-wise it feels like a throwback into the last decade. The screen is no comparison to modern laptop screens, the touchpad works only reluctantly. Luckily it has Bluetooth, and in the office a dedicated mouse solves that problem, and most software used in the field is about as old as this laptop feels, so it's a good match. :-) On the plus side: it has plenty of ports and certainly looks indestructible. It may not be the most stylish or convenient, but it works, and that's what counts.
